I grew up in the 40’s in ENY Brooklyn on Essex St. I had 5 brothers an 3 sisters and attended
P.S. 158 & Berriman Jr. H.S. 64. I just finished writing my memoirs called: “Hey, I’m Taulken here!”. It can be found by writing to my e-mail address . I wrote about so many memories some good,
some bad. I loved it when my brother Bobby and I were outdoors (this is around1943) and we
heard rumbling coming from the sky. We looked up and the sky was blackened by many planes
all traveling in formation. We told our mother about this and she said “they were probably
B17’s going to fight the war”
