It’s an absolute disagrace that these buildings were allowed to decay to this state.

Likely not to decay much more, since there are now plans to build a shopping mall at the Navy Yard.

Admirals Row. Time to get over the outrage of their loss; these buildings were decrepit 40 years ago. If money had been poured into them, there would be outrage over “wasteful federal spending”, no doubt.

Gentrification, or Yuppification passed this by after the Navy Yard closed in 1966. Why has it taken this long for change other than decay to occur?
