In Inwood, on Broadway in Manhattan, approximately 216th street…the arch denotes the entrance to the old Isham porperty…
Seaman-Drake Arch in Inwood?
That would be that archway between 207th and 215th on the west side of Broadway in Inwood, which has a name that I’ve forgotten; I noticed that puppy for years without figuring out what it was (one side of the building in front of it is an auto repair joint).
Kingsbridge Road Road, at 216th Street
Facing west on Broadway with W. 216th St. behind you. Now what was the name of the estate to which this arch served as gateway?
I believe this arch is on Jerome Ave in the Bronx, an entrance to an old mansion?

Seaman-Drake Arch on the west side of Broadway at 215th Street, Inwood Bronx.
Ok, not quite the Bronx but upper Manhattan which is where Inwood is.
Argh! That be the Seaman Drake Arch at 216th and Broadway, matey.
