Nuvern Avenue runs for a few blocks in Mount Vernon, near the Bronx line, in Westchester. But, there is a small piece of it in the Bronx, near its intersection with Duryea Avenue.
In homage to its two-city location, many years ago the street was named Nuvern, for New York and Mount Vernon.
