The A. Blank Company made office furniture, was established in 1899, and up until a couple of years ago, its magnificent old neon sign was still attached to a building at the corner of Broad and Stone Streets.
The World Wide Web is a blank on A. Blank. If anyone can fill in the Blank, let me know.

The original neon sign is still there. It’s covered over by a Giuliano’s Gourmet Pizza-Deli sign, though.
