This battered street sign pair can be found (at least in 2012 when I shot it) at Leighton Avenue and Spencer Place in Yonkers. However, it sits right on the Yonkers-NYC borderline and indeed, Spencer Place is L-shaped and curves south into the Bronx, where it dead ends. Leighton then continues south with an identity change in the Bronx, where it becomes Spencer Avenue.
Yonkers is a large city — I believe NYS’ third largest after NYC and Buffalo — and roving it in its entirety looking for similar signs would be daunting. If anyone knows the locations of any other similar signs, tell me in Comments.
