Thank you for this mini-map–I’ll try to find the original. I’ve been trying to find Parker St. for a while now–knew it was around Frost, Withers, Meeker because my great-great grandfather (an Irish blacksmith) lived and died at 39 Parker in 1887. His son, who later became a Brooklyn Assemblyman, lived at all those addresses. So in addition to Italians and Germans, this area was once a bit Irish tt. I think Parker St. vanished in the early 1950s when the Cooper Park Houses went up.
My grt grt grand mother – Mary Bevans – & her husband Louis Emener – lived at & ran a saloon at 70 Kingsland ave in the late 1800’s….also on Graham Ave
..wondering if this building was always & is currently #70???
