Hi Everyone,
However I came across this site, it sort of was meant to be. My Grandfather the late Rabbi M. Lipschitz whose religious article business located at 90 Rivington Street and who resided in the apartment above the store. This was located directly across the street from the Romanian Schul, which on a few occasions that my father took me with him to attend a night service.
The artist Manuel Schary produced an art work “The old scribe of Rivington Street” which hangs in my home.
