Oh I remember this spot like it was yesterday. I lived in the 1st building (5210 Broadway) of the Marble Hill Projects, and I used to walk to this train station when my Nanny was visiting from Brooklyn. I’d wait for her at the bottom of the stairs, and walk with her over to my building. I lived in Marble Hill from about 1951 to 1962, when my parents then moved us to Bailey Avenue, right by the Major Deegan Expressway.
