Livied in Highbridge from 1946 to 1967. Near the old 44th was the old Highbridge station of the New York Central. Along the tracks was an old Bocci court and further north was a chicken farm where our parents were able to buy chickens( if they wanted to clean them) Also this was the first time that you could change to the Old Putnam Just south was where they washed the trains.
