Reply Gail December 29, 2011 - 1:40 am Such a familiar looking bridge, but I’ve never heard of the Duncomb arches. I’ll take a guess at Central Park, but also believe I’ve seen similar bridges as a child while going through the Bronx with my family in the Pelham Bay area. Bronx River Parkway?
Yes this is in Bronx Park along the Bronx River.
Such a familiar looking bridge, but I’ve never heard of the Duncomb arches. I’ll take a guess at Central Park, but also believe I’ve seen similar bridges as a child while going through the Bronx with my family in the Pelham Bay area.
Prospect Park?
It looks like Central Park, but I am just throwing a wild guess here.
Wild guess, looks like it is in Forest Park along the Jackie Robinson Parkway
Looks like the Bronx River Parkway just north of Allerton Ave.
My guess matches chris’ guess….I’m going to say Forest Park, along the bridle path as it passes under the Interboro/Jackie Robinson
This has to be the along Bronx River.

That image was a tricky one, and I only thought of Central Park because that’s the only thing that comes to my mind when I saw that image.
