A sweet looking retro ride that came out after Chryslers PT Cruiser.
The truck version was the HHR-Heritage High Roof built 2005 until 2011
Another failed attempt at faux retro styling using the aerodynamic jellybean look. Even new autos look like clones of each other. Unless you look at the nameplate, you can’t really tell which company built the car.
I don’t recall ever actually seeing one of these, but, as everyone so far has mentioned the Chevy SSR, I’ll guess it is a cross between a Chevy something-else and a post-1998 VW Beetle.

Chevy SSR. Not sure what year, but they weren’t built for very long.
It is a Chevrolet SSR. Based on the pickup frame and drivetrain and had a retractable steel top. No longer in production.
