I graduated from St. Francis College in 1959. I began classes on Butler St., and then took some classes on Court St, when the school had a total enrollment of about 600 students and then started it’s move to Remsen St., and a new campus. It was an all male student body except for a few nuns who took certain classes that were not offered at St,Joseph College.
My wife and I settled in Memphis in 1966 and I have not been able to see the gradual growth and changes to the College. It is remarkable had the school has grown and the respect it has in the academic world.
