In this Forgotten NY tour we look at mosaics and identification artwork from the subways’ early days from 1908-1940. In many cases, early subway art depicts buildings and locations that no longer exist or have been completely altered! We will talk about subway designers Heins & LaFarge, Squire Vickers, and differences from the IRT to the BMT to the IRT
