Unless memory fails, this house is on the bottom end of Summit Ave., near Richmond Rd., in New Dorp. When I was a kid an older couple lived there. The woman of the house, who said she had lived in Vienna until after the first war, told me that it had been a tavern with stables attached. Can’t recall the name but she had a couple of large parrots that would sit in the bushes out front some days.
