R.I.P. CLASSIC NEON, Gravesend

Gravesend historian Joseph Ditta passes along that the classic neon Harold’s for Prescriptions sign at the corner of McDonald Avenue and Avenue U, under the el station, has been replaced by a plain black sign with white Helvetica lettering.

 

The good stuff always goes.
