A Manhattan nightclub The Funhouse was a packed venue popular with Borough kids but especially young adults from Brooklyn during the disco era. It’s clown is on that mural, The crowd would sing in unison hits like Push Push In the Bush and then change lyrics to Dust Dust is a must in reference to the PCP or Angel Dust craze that hit hard late 70s up to mid 80s. The middle class neighborhoods of South Eastern Brooklyn was an epicenter for it as the Mafia flooded the streets with it.
