the 1939 World’s Fair, the two symbols were the Trylon and the Perisphere, both are depicted in this photograph
Is this a Mason’s Temple?
You are wherever the World’s Fair was held in1939??
Well, it’s the trilon & perisphere from the 1939 World’s Fair and, if it was a part of that fair, it would be in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, but I went there a lot as a kid and never saw this.
Just googled it: The World of Tomorrow/ World’s Fair was in Flushing Meadows….Cool that you found this! Am I right???
It’s the vulcan Embassy in SF.
Someplace in Queens.
That’s the Trylon and Perisphere, BTW
Looks like there has to be a cable miniseries to refresh the memories around here.

Corona, 108th Street between Van Doren & Van Cleef
There are some way cool videos on YouTube that show the 39 Fair, the Trylon and Perisphere, and the 39 GM Futurama.
Actually, there is an outstanding documentary about the ’39 Fair called The World of Tomorrow.
I thought I saw it somewhere on108th Street in Corona, Queens.
Thanks to Matt and chris, here’s a Google StreetView:
