Though standard Philadelphia street signs are green on white, 4-sided and trapezoidal with room at the top of the sign for the cross street, Philly has never been as fanatical about eradicating older signs as the New York City Department of Transportation has been over the years, and there are plenty of examples of older signs around.

Here’s an example of two of them in the same shot.
