AN UNUSUAL COMBO, Bayside

Just a quickie on this Thanksgiving Day. Here’s an unusual partnership in Bayside — there are usually separate poles for street signs and stop signs, even though stop signs are often paired up with One Way signs. Generally the Department of Transportation doesn’t want anything interfering with street identification, even though some street signs wind up behind telephone poles on occasion.

This could well be my own neighborhood in Portland, Oregon (here, stop and street signs commonly share posts)
